$36,000 in jewelry was stolen from a home on East Main Street in Murfreesboro. The actual date of the theft is not known for sure, but a police report outlining the sizeable theft was filed on Monday (8/12/13). According to the report, it would appear as if a suspect has been named in the case, but an arrest has not been made. The incident is under investigation.

Almost exactly one year ago today, unknown persons broke into the home of Dr. Liz Rhea and stole over $100,000 worth of jewelry. In that case, family heirlooms were taken from Rhea, but TV's and electronic devices were left untouched. No arrests were made in that case that now dates back 12-months.
