A 59 year old Murfreesboro man was scammed out of $5,000 for a truck that he wanted to buy on CraigsList. The victim said that he found the truck that was listed for $3,000 plus $2,000 for shipping. He then paid the fees with GreenDot cards, as directed by the seller. However, the truck never came through and now the man is out $5,000.

So far, no arrests have been made.
