Alive Hospice invites community to Open House at new Murfreesboro Residence

The community celebration of Alive Hospice's new Murfreesboro Residence will continue with an open house scheduled for Friday, June 16 from 12 to 1:30 p.m. The program will include refreshments, tours, an introduction to Alive Hospice (The Residence at Alive Hospice Murfreesboro, home hospice care, grief counseling and community education) as well as a time for Q&A with the nonprofit's senior leaders. The Residence at Alive Hospice Murfreesboro is located at 1629 Williams Drive in the Medical Gateway, near Murfreesboro Medical Clinic and DCI.

The June 16 open house kicks off Alive's monthly Lunch and Learn Series in Murfreesboro, which will be held the third Friday of each month with guest speakers on a variety of topics pertaining to end-of-life care, grief and loss, and advance care planning. The programs are designed to be educational for the general public as well as professionals. Upcoming Lunch and Learns include:

Alive Hospice's Murfreesboro Residence celebrated its Grand Opening and Dedication on May 25 and brings a dedicated hospice facility to Rutherford and surrounding counties in addition to home hospice care. Additionally, Alive's Murfreesboro location offers grief counseling and support for adults and children who have lost loved ones (the families of Alive Hospice patients as well as any community member who has been touched by a loss, including those with no prior connection to Alive) and community education about the end of life.
