State Senator Jim Tracy (R-Shelbyville) was presented with the Tennessee Wildlife Federation (TWF) "Legislator of the Year" award last week at a ceremony hosted by the organization in Nashville.

The TWF is a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to the "conservation, sound management, and wise use of Tennessee's wildlife and great outdoors." Each year since 1965, the TWF has honored a select group of leaders in the conservation and stewardship of wildlife and their habitat in Tennessee.

"It is an honor to be recognized by this outstanding organization," said Sen. Tracy. "I appreciate the opportunity to partner with them to ensure future generations of Tennesseans continue to have the opportunity to enjoy our state's precious natural resources, including the right to hunt and fish."
