100% Scholarships For Degrees In Childcare or Early Childhood Education
November 17, 2009
The Tennessee Early Childhood Training Alliance (TECTA) is offering a new scholarship option for those who wish to pursue a degree in child care or early childhood education. Statewide Program Director Katari Coleman announced 100 per cent scholarships are available in this field to cover either one or two courses during the current academic year.
During these times of high unemployment, she indicated this will help displaced and underemployed workers looking to make the transition to a career in child care. This is the first initiative to allow TECTA to provide full tuition support for students at both public and private two and four-year institutions. It is designed to remove the financial constraints for adults entering and returning to school.
