18-Year old female robbed at gunpoint in Murfreesboro

An aggravated robbery took place in Murfreesboro on Wednesday night around 8:00. The robbery was reported at 1245 Old Lascassas Pike.

The 18-year old victim said that as she walked to her car she could hear footsteps behind her. When she turned to see who was behind her, she saw a six foot figure armed with a handgun. The subject demanded she hand over her money so she gave the man a credit card. The man then demanded money a second time so she handed over her wallet that had only receipts and change in it. The unknown black male with a muscular build then fled the area on foot.

Murfreesboro Police responded and used a K-9 in an attempt to track down the armed robber. The dog followed the man's scent to 2818 Middle Tennessee Boulevard, but no suspect was found. At this point, an arrest has not been made and no suspect has been identified.
