Murfreesboro Police are investigating the rape of an 18-year old woman, who lives on the MTSU campus. According to Murfreesboro Police records, they were called to the campus Friday in reference to a rape that had already occurred.

Officer Rafiq Qadir reports the complainant told him she was raped Thursday night. A follow up was done at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital and detectives were notified to take over the investigation.
