The man accused of raping and killing 22-year-old Heather Maples in Murfreesboro will head to court for trial next year. Brandon Richmond Bowling allegedly killed Maples at her apartment in 2015.

Looking back, the murder took place at The Cove at Center Point Apartments in Murfreesboro (apartment 222). The murder happened just days before the young victim would have celebrated her 23rd birthday.
