3-Month Old Infant Dies In Unlicensed Daycare
November 20, 2009
Around 11:20 Friday morning (11/20/09) Murfreesboro police received a 911 call about an infant who was having difficulty breathing. When emergency responders arrived at the Buck Cherry Way address, they found Parker Arthur Wilcox already cold to the touch. The 3-month old triplet was rushed to the ER at Middle Tennessee Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased. Officials have ordered that an autopsy be done.
39-year old Marsha Bradley told police that she had just fed the triplets, but little Parker suddenly had trouble breathing. She called 911 and began CPR.
The joint-investigation is being done by detectives from the Murfreesboro Police Department along with members of the Department of Childrens Services.
Marsha Bradley was taking care of 9 children at her Buck Cherry Way home. In addition to the triplets, six other children were at the home, three of whom were Bradley’s. The facility was not licensed as a day care center, however officers at the scene report it was clean, but cluttered.
WGNS News will keep you informed on whether or not the findings of this investigation are turned over to the grand jury.
