Like trivia? Think you’re pretty good at recalling odd facts? Up for a super-fun challenge? If so, then get your tickets now for Central Magnet School’s 3nd annual Super Trivia Bowl and auction on Saturday, January 25th.

The Super Trivia Bowl is Central Magnet’s primary community fundraiser and all proceeds go to benefit the students and staff at CMS. Team tickets are $180 and individual tickets are $30. Don’t worry if you don’t have an entire team of six. You will be partnered with other individual players, or you can buy a spectator ticket if you simply want to take in this battle of minds and strategy. Fun prizes will also be awarded for best team name and most spirit. Registration and sponsorship information is available at the CMS website www.central.rcs.k12.tn.us

New to the Super Trivia Bowl this year is an on-line pre-auction where those not able to attend the event can place bids on some of the great items available this year including a condo rental at Redfish on 30A in Rosemary Beach, Florida and $750 worth of landscaping from Sleepy Hollow Nursery. The on-line auction begins January 11 on the Comas-Montgomery website.

Another new addition to this year’s event is Newk’s Eatery. “We are delighted to have Middle Tennessee Medical Clinic returning as our Scoreboard sponsor and to welcome Newk’s as this year’s food sponsor,” says Amy Jaramillo, CMS Super Trivia Bowl 2014, chair. "We are thrilled to be a part of such a fun event," says Mollie Ann Trollinger, Director of Sales and Marketing for Newk's, "We have enjoyed our partnership with Central Magnet through Spirit Nights at Newk's, and we look forward to supporting local education even more through this Trivia Night sponsorship."

The game consists of 10 rounds of 10 questions each of Central Magnet-style trivia. “We will have the free-pass tokens and the rent-a-genius options available for purchase again this year, which should prove very helpful as our reigning champions Team Us will be back to defend their title and near-perfect score,” added Lee Anne Carmack, STB committee. “We would also like to formally challenge the other local high schools and especially local businesses who host trivia nights to sponsor teams.”

There are a limited number of tables available for this event, so register today for this fun, tax-deductible, evening of good food, good fun, and possibly some great bragging rights.
