42nd Annual Smyrna Christmas Parade This Sunday

As a part of its tradition, this Sunday, December 4th, the Town of Smyrna will celebrate the holiday season with its 42nd annual Christmas Parade.

This year's Smyrna parade theme is "A Classic American Christmas" and is scheduled for Sunday, December 4th at 2:00pm. The Parade route is Northbound on Lowry Street beginning at Mayfield Drive.

Parade entries and watchers are encouraged to bring some type of non-perishable food/personal item(s) to donate to the Smyrna/Lavergne Food Bank! A float in the Parade will collect the donations along the Parade route. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be special guests.

Winning floats will receive cash prizes!

  • Best Christmas Spirit ($100)
  • Best Use of Theme ($100)
  • Mayors Cup - Best Overall Entry ($150)

To accommodate the Parade route, Lowry Street between Mayfield Drive and Sam Ridley Parkway will be closed from 1:45 pm until the completion of the Parade on Sunday, 12/4/16.
