A 47 year old man by the name of Rex Davis (photo is to the right) appeared in a Rutherford County Courtroom on Thursday where he faced charges for molesting a 12 year old girl.

Davis was found guilty of aggravated sexual battery and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. As the case unfolded, it was learned that Davis reportedly gave the child alcohol as well.

The case was successfully investigated by Murfreesboro Police Detective Tannas Knox. Evidently, the investigation started in 2014. After Davis was arrested in June of 2014, he was released after paying a $50,000 bond. He remained free until the Circuit Court Case that lasted for three days before Judge Royce Taylor this week.
