49th Annual Steak Dinner at Middle TN Christian School

(MTCS Release): Middle Tennessee Christian School will host its 49^th Annual Steak Dinner on November 5, 2009. Dr. Eddie Thompson will be the speaker at the Steak Dinner this year, and he is the chief executive officer of Thompson and Associates. His firm works with non-profit organizations across the country in development and planned giving.

Middle Tennessee Christian School is a private school serving students from Rutherford and surrounding counties in pre-school through twelfth grades. Chartered in 1960, MTCS accepted its first students in the fall of 1962 for kindergarten through third grade.

The school added other grades through the years and graduated its first senior class in 1979. The current enrollment at the school includes 757 students. MTCS is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, the Southern Association of Independent Schools, the National Christian School Association, and is a member of the Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association.

Originally suggested by the late Frank Robinson, the founder of Frank’s CB and a charter member of the MTCS Board of Trustees, the Annual Steak Dinner is the oldest continuing fund-raising event for Middle Tennessee Christian School. The first dinner was sponsored by the original Board of Trustees to raise funds to start the school. The Board of Trustees now host the dinner annually to raise funds for the operation and expansion of the school.

Jerrold Pedigo, Dick Pruett, Scott Pryor, Bob Schaffer, Charles Swift, Bruce Todd, and Joe Trammell.

I believe Frank’s was an IGA store.

yes it was an IGA. Frank was actually murdered at the IGA store across the street from MTCS which is now ACE hardware.

Kelly, I do not think it was Frank - maybe Wayne, brother of Woody Robinson, former City Council Member
