4th annual Wine at the Wetlands this Friday

The Discovery Center at Murfree Spring will host the 4th annual Wine at the Wetlands, a fine wine-tasting event presented by Charlie Patel and Stones River Total Beverages, this Friday, March 3, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Tickets can be purchased in advance at www.explorethedc.org/wine. Attendees must be 21 or older.

Wine at the Wetlands features more than 150 exceptional local and crafted wines, fine whiskies, bourbons and brandies provided by Stones River Total Beverages. Alex Belew Catering will provide hors d'oeuvres. Guests can visit 14 stations throughout the museum with experts providing details about each wine, along with a mark-your-favorite wine guide. In addition, door prizes featuring wine and wine packages will be awarded.

"We're thrilled to be hosting our 4th annual Wine at the Wetlands this year," said Tara MacDougall, Discovery Center CEO. "We are especially grateful to local leaders and business owners like Charlie Patel and Stones River Total Beverages, who continually show their support for the museum."

Tickets are available in advance for $35 per person, or $40 at the door. Designated driver tickets are $15 per person. Proceeds benefit the Discovery Center.

The Discovery Center will close early at 2 p.m. on March 3 to prepare for the event.

Wine at the Wetlands is presented by Charlie Patel and Stones River Total Beverages and sponsored in part by Franklin Synergy Bank.
