A large-scale recruitment fair will take place on February 11, 2017 at Blackman High School in Murfreesboro. The job fair is being conducted to hire 400 new teachers at existing schools and soon to be open schools within the Rutherford County School system.

Rocky Fork Middle School will be the latest school to open. Rocky Fork is school number 47 in the county system.

Local School Facts:

  • Rutherford County Schools need 400 new teachers to meet the needs of a growing community. There will be a JOB FAIR at Blackman High School on Saturday, Feb. 11, 2017 (9AM-11AM).

  • When you add the students enrolled in both Rutherford County and Murfreesboro City schools, Rutherford County now has more students than Hamilton County (Chattanooga). In fact, within 3-years, the county schools alone are expected to have more students than Hamilton County.
