The Child Advocacy Center of Rutherford and Cannon Counties is a nonprofit agency that serves victims of child abuse, child sexual abuse, and drug-endangered children along with their non-offending parents and family members. The CAC provides a safe, child friendly location where victims and their families can receive support services and where children suspected of being victims of abuse are interviewed by the multidisciplinary team of professionals. Last year, the CAC served 1,165 clients – 846 children and 319 parents and grandparents.
