The Tigermart on Mercury Boulevard was robbed late last week, but at this point it does not appears as if a suspect has been apprehended.

According to the store clerk, a man entered the store wearing a scarf, a black suede jacket, sweatpants and house shoes and attempted to buy beer. During the attempt to buy the cold beverages, the clerk told police the subject’s credit card was declined. The culprit left and returned a short time later demanding money. At first, the worker told the suspect he did not have any cash. Seconds later, the worker opened the register and handed him what little money was in the cash drawer. The man left with about 60-bucks and did not return.
