A child rape suspect in Tennessee has been CAPTURED

A child rape suspect who was wanted in Tennessee is no longer on the run...

An investigation by Special Agents with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has resulted in the arrest of a fugitive wanted out of Hamblen County on rape and theft charges.

On July 18th, at the request of 3rd District Attorney General Dan Armstrong, TBI Special Agents with assistance from the Hamblen County Sheriff's Office and United States Marshal Service began investigating the whereabouts of Robert Shawn Harris. The suspect was wanted by the Hamblen County Sheriff's Office for two counts of Rape of a Child. Additionally, he was also wanted by the Morristown Police Department for Theft over $1,000.

Now, Harris, 37, of Bulls Gap, Tennessee was located and arrested in Perry, Oklahoma. He was transported to the Noble County Jail where he is being held as a Fugitive from Justice.
