A 33-year old woman and a 34-year old man were arrested on Tuesday and charged with child abuse.  The record of arrest filed by Detective Tommy Roberts of the Murfreesboro Police Department shows that Amber Diaz and Larry Boleyjack II have been accused of physically abusing a 13-year old girl.

The young teenager had injuries to her face, both arms, back and leg. Police met with the teen at the Department of Children Services office and photographed the victim to document all injuries.

The report shows that Diaz returned home after drinking and complained to Boleyjack about his daughter using her makeup. Boleyjack allegedly woke the child up at 3AM to confront her about using “eyeliner” that belonged to Diaz. The report states, “Amber Diaz struck the victim in the face multiple times.” The report also shows, “Larry Boleyjack II, father of the victim, failed to protect his daughter and even participated in the abuse causing injury to her arms, kicking her in the leg and buttocks.”

DCS is now handling the welfare of the child, but information in regards to the child’s wellbeing cannot and will not be released due to the age of the victim.

Diaz and Boleyjack were each charged with child abuse.

Both suspects were booked into the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center on Tuesday night and released within two hours after posting bond.
