Jacques Harris claimed he got into an altercation with his nephew, James Harris, after being accused of stealing a lawnmower. The altercation became physical, with James allegedly being struck in the head by Jacques.

That's when Jacques' brother Johnnie reportedly came outside with a 9mm handgun and fired a round at the ground.

While witnesses observed the assault between Jacques and James, they were uncooperative about the gun firing. This despite a 9mm shell casing being found in the yard.

Due to the statements given, Jacques Harris was placed under arrest for domestic assault against James Harris. Due to the evidence collected, Johnnie Harris was arrested on aggravated domestic assault.

While authorities were investigating this incident, Mondre Jefferies, who was reportedly with one of the subjects, was found to be wanted on local warrants for evading arrest, violation of the sex offender registry and driving without a license. He was also arrested.
