A 37-year old Seals Way man was assaulted at a local bar. Murfreesboro Police Officer Nicholas Sapp reports being sent to the home of the victim Friday around 10am.

The victim told the officer he was at the Wagon Wheel Bar on Southeast Broad around 1am and asked the bar manager for a job. That's when the man reports the manager getting angry and told him he had a gun behind the bar.

The victim says he then cursed the bar manager. Then, as one of the workers began talking to him, the next thing he knew, he was waking up on the floor. He then stated he saw the bar manager with a baseball bat.

The victim reports he doesn't remember anything after that until he awoke, outside in bushes. He also said 15-dollars was missing from his wallet.

Murfreesboro Police are investigating.
