The Ahart's Pizza Garden on Old Fort Parkway was robbed at gunpoint. Murfreesboro Police Officer Christopher Pate was first on the scene and reports around 8:45 Sunday morning, the pizza restaurant was robbed by an unknown white male.

The victim reported dumping the fryer grease when he hard the door bell. He told the officer when he looked up, he saw the white male with what appeared to be a gun. The suspect asked for money. That's when the victim went to the register and says an unknown vehicle pulling up in front of the restaurant.

It was at that time the suspect fled without taking anything. The case has been handed over to the Murfreesboro Police Criminal Investigations Division.
