Thomas said that the walk is free to attend, but the goal is to raise money to help find a cure for Alzheimer's. With Alzheimer's, the problems are extensive as time goes on which eventually can lead to death.

Again, the Rutherford County Alzheimer's Walk, sponsored in part by The Crossings at Victory Station will be on the MTSU campus at the track on November 11, 2017.

The Crossings at Victory Station is one of the main sponsors of the Alzheimer's Walk this year.

The main sponsor, The Crossings at Victory Station, is currently under construction. The company is opening a senior living community on Fortress Boulevard in Murfreesboro. The Crossings should be open by early 2018.
