Armed Robbery Call Leads to Drug Arrest

A call to a Medical Center Parkway residence leads to a drug arrest by Murfreesboro Police. Twenty-year old Charles Wayne Harvard was arrested for possession of several drugs, including marijuana and cocaine along with drug paraphanelia. Officers responded to an armed robbery call just before midnight last Friday, where a large amount of drugs and cash were stolen. While in the home, a sweep by MPD found burnt marijuana in an ashtray. Also in the home other drugs were found, along with digital scales, a bong and rolling machine. Harvard will be in General Sessions Court to answer to the charges on May 1st.
