(MURFREESBORO) On Tuesday (9/4/2018) 18-year-old Izaiha Deshon Gleaves turned himself in to the booking office at the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center.

Over the Labor Day weekend, Murfreesboro Police issued a Second Degree Murder warrant for the arrest of Gleaves in connection with a Saturday night shooting at 711 North Maney Avenue.

In that case, 19-year old Michael Roper was shot on North Maney Avenue shortly after 11:00 o'clock Saturday (9/1/2018) night. He was rushed to the ER at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital where officials pronounced him deceased. Roper was a 2017 graduate and football player at Oakland High School.

Again, Major Clyde Adkison confirmed that Izaiha Deshon Gleaves turned himself in to the Rutherford County Sheriff's Office where he is being held without bond at this time. NewsRadio WGNS will keep you informed.
