Murfreesboro Police responded to a potential suicide call on Sunday at The Woods at Greenland Apartment complex. Once on the scene they noticed a large crowd gathered below a man standing on the railing of a third floor balcony. Police then made contact with the 21-year old man who stated he wanted to "End it All" and was just "Waiting to Die."

When officers realized the subject would not step down from the balcony railing and enter back into the apartment, they made their way into his room going unnoticed. Officers Kyle Fraizer and Ricky Haley utilized an "element of surprise" by safely grabbing him from behind and pulling him to safety. The two officers saved the man from the jump and he was transported to St. Thomas Medical Center for a medical and mental examination.
