The officer reports he approached Hale at the pool of the hotel and asked to see her identification. She told the officer it was in her room and then gave him consent to go with her to get it. Once inside the room, the officer said he saw two cell phones. Officer Carroll reports on one of the phones there were several texts from various men. He then Googled her phone number and found it listed on several websites where people promote and solicite prostitutes. The officer found probable cause to charge Hale with promotion of prostitution. She was taken to the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center. Hale will be in General Sessions Court on August 28th to answer to the charges.
