Becky Goff Runs for Murfreesboro School Board

Becky Goff, a teacher for over 25 years, announced that she is a candidate for Murfreesboro School Board.

Goff a retired school teacher, with 33 years of service with the State. She taught in both the Rutherford and White counties school systems and worked as a child abuse investigator and Child Sex Abuse Expert Witness with the Tennessee Department of Children Services.

Becky Goff holds her Masters and Educational Specialist degrees in Education and recently retired from Rutherford County Schools.

Goff has been advocating for children all her adult life personally and professionally. She has served on various boards that impact the lives of children.

She is currently employed part-time with Murfreesboro City Schools, which has given her the opportunity to spend time in every school within this district and see first hand the phenomenal work being done by our educators and students. It has also given Goff a front seat vision for the challenges our district faces each day.

As an educator, she feels that her experience, training, and professional background qualifies her to be an advocate for our students, our teachers, and our school district.

Goff states "Teachers need to be leading the conversation in Education".

Goff is married to Guy Goff, who is employed with the Veterans Administration.
