Best Buy Burglarized - Thousands of Dollars of Electronics Stolen

  Email   Print

The Best Buy store in the Avenue in Murfreesboro was burglarized on Tuesday morning. A group of individuals used stolen vehicles to force their way into the back door of the business. The thieves took hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of electronics. So far, the culprits have not been caught.

It is suspected that the same 8-thieves broke into other stores in other areas. The stolen cars used in the heist were recovered at Carrington Park Apartments. Other Best Buy stores broken into were in Knoxville and California. The thieves were evidently targeting the new I-phone. In Murfreesboro, the I-phones had not arrived yet, so thieves got away with I-pads and Mac Book Air's.
