Boys Scouts Honored Teen Killed in Smyrna Killed Last Week

The Boys Scouts of America honored Clifton Braunwalder with the Spirit of the Eagle Award. A private ceremony was held yesterday (Sunday). The 13 year old was active in the Boy Scouts, along with his church family.

Braunwalder was killed last Thursday while changing a flat tire on his mother's car along I-24 at exit 66 in Smyrna. Tina Wilson, the woman accused of hitting the Braunwalder's car, has been charged with vehicular homicide and aggravated vehicular homicide.

After visitation at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church today (Monday), there will be a candlelight vigil at 8pm that will be open to the public. A funeral mass will be held tomorrow (Tuesday) morning at the church.
