Bras and Bribes

Joy Sartin will pay the price for trying to pay the price. A jury in Portland, Oregon recently convicted the 25-year-old lingerie model for attempted bribery after she took 270 dollars out of her bra to give to a police officer who was about to issue her a traffic ticket.Sartin claims she kept the cash in her bra because she didn’t have her purse with her and that she simply intended to pay the fine right then and there. The officer, however, claims Sartin offered him the cash when he told her that her car would be towed because she was driving with a suspended license. Sartin argued she was only in a rush to pick up her four-year-old son. It’s unclear when she will be sentenced.
