The Whitt's BBQ location on South Church Street was broken into over the weekend.

Officer Christopher Dinaso responded to the location just after eight o'clock Saturday morning and spoke with the manager.

She reported a safe, which was bolted to the floor, was missing. Officer Dinaso observed the damage to the back door handle and the floor where the safe was located.

There was approximately 25-hundred dollars in the safe. Nothing else was taken from the location. There was no security system or cameras there, so no suspect information can be obtained.

This is the second time the business has been burglarized since January.
