Business Week Says Murfreesboro Best Place To Raise Kids In Tennessee

November 12, 2008

Business Week magazine has released an in-depth study on the best cities in which to raise children. Not only is Murfreesboro ranked the best place to raise a child in Tennessee, but one of the tops in the nation. The magazine talks about the bonus of being a college town. The article tells the world that Middle Tennessee State University has the Volunteer State’s largest undergraduate enrollment. Sometimes we’re so close to the ‘Boro that we don’t see or appreciate our beautiful forest for the close trees. Such things as the variety of musical fare–jazz to international folk festival. Business Week discloses that college towns seem to ride out economic downturns better than other cities. It makes you proud to read outsiders telling about the great parks and recreation department and how, even though our population has passed the 100,000 mark, Murfreesboro still enjoys that comfortable small town feeling. Business Week simply reinforces a few of the many reasons we all love living in the Heart of Tennessee!

Businessweek doesn’t tell the world, it tells the US.

Got something to say?
