Acting on tips, Murfreesboro Police shut-down a meth lab in Campus Crossings Apartments North at 285 North Rutherford Boulevard at Alumni Drive, next to MTSU. The call came into police around 4:30 Monday afternoon (12/10/2012). 

Meth task force officers with Murfreesboro Police and the Tennessee Meth Task Force removed the lab components.  The components were in various stages of the manufacturing process. 

Murfreesboro Police Sergeant Kyle Evans told WGNS News, "I can confirm that meth lab components were discovered in apartment 1102.  The apartment has been quarantined.  No other apartments were in danger or exposed to the hazardous materials."

Two people are in custody. WGNS News will keep you informed.
