October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. As part of the month's activities, Cannon County Service and Violence Education or Cannon County SAVE is having SAVEFEST this Saturday. It will take place from noon until 6pm Saturday at the Woodbury Fairgrounds in the Pemberton Covered Arena.

In addition, they'll have live music by the Gilley Boys, lots of great food and Cow Pie Bingo...
All proceeds from the Saturday event, which is again from noon until 6pm, benefit Cannon County SAVE and the domestic violence shelter there...
