The annual Special Kids Race is right around the corner and residents are excited! You can still register for the 15k, 5k or one mile run at SpecialKidsRace.org. If you can't run in the race, but want to show your support - WGNS has the perfect solution for you and your family.
WGNS spoke to Sharon Perry, who is helping with the race, on Wednesday. Perry told us they are in need of cheer groups to encourage runners. If you have a business or perhaps a Girl Scout Troop that would like to sign up as a “Cheer Group,” call 295-5166.
The race is presented by Murfreesboro Medical Clinic.
