You are invited to celebrate the Riverdale Lady Warrior's state and national championship in basketball next week. A celebration will be held inside Johnny Parsley Memorial Gymnasium at Riverdale Thursday, May 9th, beginning at 6pm. There will be a steak dinner from Outback Steakhouse, a silent auction and University of Kentucky women's basketball coach Matthew Mitchell will speak. Individual tickets are 25-dollars. A table of 10 with two autographed t-shirts is 225-dollars. Proceeds will help the Lady Warrior's purchase championship rings and cover the cost of the Nike Invitational Tournament in Hawaii, coming up in December. Contact the school for more details.
