The initial date was cancelled due to a winter storm that froze the 'Boro, but the Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce' "Business At Its Best" enjoyed a packed ballroom for a luncheon Friday (3/4/2016) at the Embassy Suites Hotel and Conference Center.

Changing of the Guard

Kathy Jones shared comments about her year as chair of the legendary organization that continues to gain attention and growth for the Heart of Tennessee. During the event, Jamie Reed with SEC, Inc. became the 2016 chairman.

BUSINESS PERSON: Mark Follis, a partner and CPA with Dempsey Vantrease & Follis, was honored as the 2016 Business Person of the Year.

BUSINESS LEGEND: Developer and entrepreneur John Floyd, founder of Ole South Properties, now the largest in the state, was named 2016 Business Legend.

PINNACLE AWARD: Chris Jones with Middle Tennessee Electric Membership Corporation was named the 2016 Pinnacle recipient by Leadership Rutherford.
