We have more information on what was described as an all terrain vehicle crash that occurred this past Sunday in Christiana. As it turns out, the ATV in question was actually a kids go-cart that was carrying both a driver and a passenger in the Lovvorn Road area.
The 14 year old and 10 year old in the go cart were not restrained and were not wearing a helmet, according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol. The injuries suffered by the two were quite extensive and both were taken to Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville. One was taken by way of ambulance and the second by helicopter.

Crash Description:
Vehicle 1 was traveling north on N. Lovvorn Road at which time the driver lost control of the vehicle. Vehicle 1 traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a drainage culvert causing damage to vehicle 1. Note: Vehicle 1 was a two seater go cart made from Manco Model 415-3110. Neither occupant was wearing a helmet.
