Christmas Shoplifting in Murfreesboro at Walmart Store

Three air rifles, three remote control helicopters, an electric scooter and more were allegedly stolen by a Murfreesboro man who reportedly tried to push the merchandise out the front doors of Walmart on Rutherford Blvd.

Suspect Randall Bly was said to be caught by a store loss prevention worker passing all points of purchase. The cart was loaded with over $750 in merchandise. Officer Burubeltz wrote in a report, "I made contact with Mr. Bly who admitted to the theft and said he was getting Christmas presents."

The 52-year old Shelbyville man was charged with "Theft over $500." He was arrested and booked under an $8,000 bond at the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center.
