City Council pursuing Craig Tindall for City Attorney

MURFREESBORO, TN - Murfreesboro might have a new City Attorney, but it's still an ongoing process. The Council met with the two finalists, Tim Pirtle of McMinnivlle and Craig Tindall of Phoenix, Thursday afternoon to discuss who will receive the position. After the City Council meeting, Councilman Eddie Smotherman says he believes Craig Tindall might be the right choice, and most the other council members agree. NewsRadioWGNS' Jackson Jones has more.

Councilman Smotherman has this to say about Tindall:

When asked what will happen next, he added:

Nothing is set in stone yet, as the Council will meet again to discuss their decision in more detail, and conduct a background check on Tindall. The new attorney will replace Susan McGannon when she retires on November 1st this year.
