Linebaugh Public Library will be hosting four students from the Advanced Honors English Class of Central Magnet teacher Cynthia Salvage for a book signing on Thursday, March 16th, from 3:30 - 6:30PM. These students have written and published books as part of a year-long class project of writing novellas. Lightening Source partnered with the school to help them self-publish.

Savanna Cucchiara, the author of Swap, is a sophomore at Central. She is a freelance artist, published illustrator, and now a published author. Savanna is one of three children, and she spends her free time drawing, listening to music, and playing with her dog. She plans to publish more in the future.

Another sophomore, Alice Byrnes lived in Carmel, Indiana for thirteen years and has lived in Murfreesboro, Tennessee for two years. The title of her work is Sunshine and Ashes.

Hannah Cheng, writes about her father's incredible story of survival. In the midst of the Vietnam War, a family of seven escapes the oppressive nation by boarding a boat to Mayasia. Because of a series of unfortunate events, the family, along with 90 other people, end up floating in the middle of the ocean with no resources and are left at the mercy of the ocean in their escape to freedom.

Sophomore, Stephanie Hensley, has a passion for music and has been playing piano for 9 years and euphonium for 3 years. Her goal is to one day be a band director.

Stephanie's favorite author is J.R.R. Tolkien, and most of the inspiration for her short story, Farther South than the Earth Would Go, came from his work.

Each author will have copies of their books to sign and sell at this event.

Linebaugh Public Library is located at 105 W. Vine St. in Murfreesboro.
