The cleanup from Monday's severe weather continues, especially in southern Rutherford County. A storm, which prompted a tornado warning at 12:15, left behind damage in the Christiana. Damage to a few homes, a barn and several trees were downed on Sledge Road and Plainview Road, near Epps Mill. There were several reports of downed trees scattered across the Christiana area. Also, reports of a power pole snapped along with tree and roof damage along Manchester Road.
UPDATE: WGNS has learned that indeed an EF0 tornado was confirmed to have been the cause of the damage.
