Connecting on the Farm 2017 to Benefit The Journey Home

The Journey Home in Murfreesboro is known for helping others on a daily basis. They do everything from serving meals to helping the homeless with a home, an apartment or other stable living condition.

The local non-profit will hold a fundraiser called "Connecting on the Farm 2017" to benefit The Journey Home on October 12, 2017. Executive Director Scott Foster explained the purpose of the event...

"Connecting on the Farm 2017" will feature free food, with drinks from Stones River Total Beverages and Mayday Brewery.

A roaring fire will be the backdrop, so be sure you bring your own lawn chairs and friends.

Details for The Journey Home Benefit:

Connecting on the Farm is set for 6-8 p.m. on Thursday evening, Oct. 12. The farm is located directly off of South Church Street just past Warrior Drive at 550 Hutchinson Lane in Murfreesboro.

Admission is free but donations are encouraged.
