There has been question after question raised about the leadership of Rutherford County Sheriff Robert Arnold. One of those questions surrounds the idea of the Sheriff being replaced. Mayor Burgess explained that while an ethic complaint has been brought against Sheriff Arnold, no criminal charges have been filed. Without criminal charges and court proceedings, no changes are legally allowed in the elected office of Sheriff, according to Mayor Burgess.
