COURT DATE: Smyrna Police Nab Suspect Who Allegedly Exposed Himself to Young Women in the Area

A man arrested on charges for exposing himself to women in Smyrna will appear in court soon to face 9-charges. Smyrna Police Chief Kevin Arnold stated “On at least 3 separate incidents in the month of October, Mr. Mario Frederick confronted young women and exposed himself from the waist down and preformed a sexual act. The incidents occurred at the Kroger’s and Walgreens on West Sam Ridley, and Kmart on North Lowry Street.”

Frederick will appear in Circuit Court and file a plea TODAY Tuesday, Jan. 21st.  He will face three felony indecent exposure charges and six charges of indecent exposure.

Chief Arnold told us that Frederick has a history of doing several acts of Indecent Exposure in the Montgomery County area of Tennessee. We also found that he is a registered Sex Offender for committing 3 or more acts of Indecent Exposure in the past. He even has a Federal conviction for Indecent Exposure after reportedly exposing himself to a victim while on the Fort Campbell Military base. 

Chief Arnold stated in regards to the Smyrna incident(s), "In the incidents he made contact with his victims in the parking lot while they were getting into or out of their vehicle.”
