Special Kids Annual Campaign And Banquet

August 10, 2009

Pam Tebow, mother of Florida Gators quarterback, Tim Tebow, is just days away from her appearance to speak at the Special Kids banquet in Murfreesboro on August, 25.

Tim Tebow was just voted “#1 Impact Player of 2009” by Fox Sports and won the Heisman in 2007. These accomplishments are particularly impressive since Tim was quoted as being, “”the most effective ambassador-warrior for his faith I’ve come across in 25 years at SI” by Austin Murphy for Sports Illustrated. (In the July 27th cover story titled “Man of Many Missions.”)

Mrs. Tebow’s strong parenting and leadership skills are evident in the character and determination of her son, Tim. Another SI quote states: “To meet Pam is to understand where Tim gets much of his mental toughness. Pam emphasized selflessness and compassion [with Tim.]”

Special Kids’ annual campaign and banquet theme is “Let Your Light Shine” and Pam Tebow will deliver an impactful message of light, certain to incite action. Tebow is a never-wilting flower of vitality and inspiration who states emphatically: “you’re always influencing somebody; you’re either influencing them for good or not so good; it’s your choice.”

The Special Kids’ Let Your Light Shine banquet will be held at Calvary Baptist Church on Tuesday, August 25 beginning at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are available for purchase for $100 each or $750 for a table of 8 by calling Special Kids at 615-893-4892 or by visiting specialkidstn.com.

This event is presented by: Demos’ Steak and Spaghetti House, other event sponsors include: Tennessee Pediatrics, Chip and Sonya Dodd, the Phillips Financial Group, and the Tennessee Valley Authority.
