Survive and move on. That's the phrase used in tournament basketball. WGNS' Bryan Barrett has the latest basketball tournament news...
Survive was the key word for the Smyrna girls in their 57-44 win over Siegel. The Lady Bulldogs had to claw their way to a double-digit victory, despite only having a two possession lead until late in the game. Smyrna's Brianne Alexander, despite foul trouble for much of the game, led her team with 14 points. Brooklyn Blanchard followed with 13. Senior guard Erica Roberts had 19 points to lead the Lady Stars. Siegel's season ends with a record of 10-and-15. Smyrna plays top-seeded Blackman on Saturday at 2pm.
