Despite the Murfreesboro YMCA closing, they are still very active

The YMCA may be closing their Thompson Lane location near Old Fort Parkway, but they are still actively involved in local activities in Murfreesboro.

The Fun Company Before and After-School program and its summer component, Summer Adventure, will continue without interruption. Both programs are conducted at local schools, so they will not be affected by the closure of the wellness facility. Staff for the program are based at an office located at 129 Cannon Avenue in Murfreesboro, and that office will remain open as well. Staff travel to the schools to operate the program in the morning and afternoon, and all day during school break periods.
