You don’t hear about speakers being stolen that often, but when you do – the theft is usually fairly pricey. Murfreesboro Police were called to Electronic Express off of Old Fort Parkway where they responded to a theft of speakers call. Once at the store, a manager told officers someone had shoplifted six JBL speakers over a seven day period. The speakers were valued at more than $900.

Security video in the store may have captured the lone theft suspect on tape. A black male wearing an over-sized coat could be seen on the video stealing two of the six speakers on two occasions. The subject put the speakers in his coat and simply walked out the front door of the store unnoticed by employees. Police are now in the process of trying to figure out who the thief is? So far, he has not been caught.
